Arizona Inn Lawn The Patio Cactus Garden A Small Hut
In November 2004, I had the chance to visit Tucson and I had the great fortune to stay at the historic Arizona Inn.  The inn is located near the University of Arizona campus, where I was working at the time.  My work schedule prevented me from enjoying the amenities here, but I hope to return sometime soon.

The grounds of the Arizona Inn are quite spectacular.  Constant maintenance by an attentive staff keeps the flowers in bloom and the grass green.  The grounds featured tennis courts, a fine swimming pool, old-growth gardens, and a labyrinthine trail joining the buildings.

After I spent my one and only night there, I woke at 7:00 am to go for a five mile run around the neighborhood.  It was chilly!
Arizona Inn Study The Pool

I was in Tucson to work with the University of Arizona, helping them with energy cost management.  While I was there, I got a wonderful tour of their facilities.  The University recently installed a huge ice storage / chilling system.
